Our Research and Development over the last three years in this new industry, along with feedback from previous courses installed, has allowed for the creation of both operational procedures and equipment specifically designed to address the unique aspects of a zipline tour.
EBL works with the Professional Ropes Course Association that has established zip line installation standards, designs tour equipment, and consults with clients to promote professional operation procedures. Steven Gustafson, founder of EBL has been a member of the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) since 1994 and a founder of the Professional Ropes Course Association (PRCA). The PRCA is an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Accredited Standards Developer (ASD) for ropes challenge courses and zip line tours. ACCT has been a wonderful resource to the ropes course industry and the PRCA is becoming that same resource for the zip line / canopy tour industry as well as an additional resource for the ropes courses.
Additionally, we are able to construct suspension bridges and other elements to assist in traversing shorter distances which will aid in the flow of an ecology tour.
